The Virtual Science Cafe created inside Second Life is a 3D virtual place representing a real science cafe, bridging interactive cross media tools between web, second life and reality.

The place can host Science Cafe meeting as a real place, the moderator and participants can use it and assist interactively from any part of the world. For this, the participant needs broadband connection, communication tools, same like used with skype for example, headset, sound, and eventually video. This is a place of meeting, communicating and discovering between all people without barrier of distance, gender, country, and even language with an integrated automatic translation tool.
