Dundee Science Festival introduced cutting edge online innovation on family history. Cafe Philosophie de Science was opened by Dundee University philosophy lecturer Dr Beth Lord, who explored the topic God and Science. Cafe owner John Batchelor said: ''We are delighted to be taking part in the festival as science is such a major part of the city's thriving economy and our modest contribution recognises this.
